The Malta necklace is a one-of-a-kind piece with a calm, sculptural presence. Four strands of shell and coral create a pale, lively volume that brings warmth and structure into a clear form. The elongated shell elements give the Malta necklace its fluid, almost textile-like effect, while the small coral accents appear like precise points of colour between them. The result feels summery and organic, yet never playful. Instead, the Malta necklace works through rhythm, surface and material contrast, with a composition that feels deliberate rather than decorative.
Its effect comes from repetition, density and the contrast between pale shell and warm coral. The four strands sit softly and closely around the neck, so the necklace reads almost like a compact band. At the same time, the individual shell forms keep movement alive within the silhouette. Three micro-details define it most clearly: the marbled pattern of the shells, the small orange-red coral points placed between the elements, and the calm layering of the four strands. That is what keeps the Malta necklace from feeling loud. Instead, it feels composed and assured. It brings light into a look without losing clarity, combining natural materiality with a distinctly considered structure.

With MALTA, I wanted to bring brightness and warmth into one clear, quiet line. The shell brings structure and calm, while the coral adds small impulses of colour and energy.
The Malta necklace is especially strong with white, cream, sand, chocolate, black or warm natural tones. Against linen, silk, smooth cotton or fine knitwear, the pale material palette reads with clarity and ease. The density of the four strands comes through best with quiet silhouettes, where the necklace can stand as a single focal point. The Malta necklace also works beautifully with restrained gold accents when the look should stay collected and summery.

Each piece is individually handcrafted. In the Malta necklace, the spacing, density and drape of the four strands need to be balanced precisely so the piece feels soft while keeping its form. With shells in particular, selection matters: pattern, tone and proportion strongly shape the final effect. The gold-plated sterling silver keeps the composition calm and defined. The design is also available in yellow or white gold, and preferences can be noted during checkout.
