GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. AREA OF APPLICATION
These general terms and conditions apply to all business relations between the company SONNIA Jewellery Design – Sonnia Dettmer – (hereinafter referred to as SONNIA) and their customers at the time of the written order in the valid version.
Any deviating, conflicting or supplementary agreements shall only apply if they have been agreed in writing between the parties.
2. GENERAL
The representation of the articles offered at www.sonnia.it are largely represented according to reality. Deviating colors and shapes, due to different screen, print and/or graphic settings do not constitute defects.
3. COMPLETION OF CONTRACT
The written order of the customer is considered as an offer to conclude a contract.
The order shall be deemed to be completed only upon express acceptance by SONNIA by e-mail confirmation.
SONNIA reserves the right to reject an offer without stating reasons, in particular if there is reasonable suspicion that the ordered goods are to be resold (commercially).
4. PRICES
SONNIA takes care to always quote the correct prices for the items shown, but is not liable for errors. All items listed on the website are inclusive of VAT. Prices do not include shipping costs.
5. SHIPPING – DELIVERY TIMES
The goods are insured by SONNIA during transport. Delivery time is about 5 – 10 days depending on availability. SONNIA shall not be liable for delays due to external circumstances.
6. PAYMENTS
Payment of the total invoice amount shall be made only after written acceptance of the order by SONNIA.

BANK TRANSFER – NEXI Payment methods: BANK TRANSFER – NEXI (Payment cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay)
Your credit card details are passed on to our payment partner via an encrypted SSL connection. SONNIA has no insight or access to your data. In the event of any refunds, SONNIA can only make these to the credit card deposited at the time of payment.
The ordered jewelry will be made and shipped only after the final amount of the order is credited to SONNIA’s account.
Any transfer costs and bank charges shall be borne by the customer.
7. RESERVATION OF OWNERSHIP
The delivered goods remain property of SONNIA until full payment of the purchase price – incl. additional costs.
8. RETURNS – REVOCATION
According to the legal regulations, the Buyer, provided that he is an end consumer (i.e. a natural person who does not purchase the goods for the purpose of his professional activity or the goods are intended for resale), has the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement without giving any reasons within 14 days in writing by registered mail or email to SONNIA.

8a. HANDLING OF THE REVOCATION
SONNIA shall refund the Buyer the stated value of the goods within 14 calendar days.
Any shipping costs, bank charges and other related costs will not be refunded.
The 14-day refund period starts from the receipt of the returned goods.
8b. EXCEPTIONS AND CONDITIONS
A right of return does not apply to an item that has been specially made or modified at the customer’s request. This also applies to collection items which, because they are no longer in stock, have been made again at the customer’s request.
The right of return is subject to the following conditions.
the right applies to the product as a whole
the product must be returned intact, in its original packaging and complete in all respects (with the accessories, packaging, documentation, etc.).
it must not have been used.
as required by law, the buyer pays the shipping costs of the return.
the return shipment to SONNIA is until the receipt of the goods at the address of SONNIA, under complete responsibility of the Buyer.
SONNIA shall not be liable for damage to the goods during return.
Upon receipt of the goods, the item is checked for any damage that does not come from transport. Sonnia reserves the right to deduct a percentage from the total amount if, for example, the packaging is damaged. The exact amount will be communicated to the buyer before repayment.
In the event of deterioration of the goods, compensation may be demanded.

9. WARRANTY
SONNIA designs and manufactures limited edition or one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry from gemstones, pearls, coral and other natural materials in yellow gold, white gold or sterling silver.
Natural materials vary in colors, shades and shapes. Due to this nature, the jewelry can be individual and different.
Slight deviations between representations on the Internet and reality do not constitute defects.
Any obvious defects beyond this must be reported immediately in writing within 2 working days of receipt. Written receipt means that SONNIA confirms receipt of the defect notification by email.
In the event of a timely and justified notice of defect, SONNIA shall have the option of rectifying the defect or making a new delivery. SONNIA shall have the right to claim a reduction in value in the event of traces of use that go beyond the fitting.
For defects in items or components obtained from third parties, SONNIA shall assume warranty only to the extent that claims exist against its own suppliers.
In any case, further claims or compensation are excluded.
10. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
The Internet offer is compiled and maintained with the greatest possible care. SONNIA can in no case guarantee the topicality, quality and completeness of the information provided.
SONNIA shall not be liable for any unavailability of a Jewelry item and shall not be liable for any electronic errors during an order process over which we have no control.
SONNIA does not assume any guarantee or liability for the content of external website offers of other operators and providers, to which visitors of this website reach via links and references inserted here. The operators and providers of external content are solely responsible for their content. SONNIA is not able to constantly check the links for possible legal violations without concrete indications. SONNIA reserves the right to change, supplement, delete or cease publication of parts of the site or the entire offering without prior notice.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION
The SONNIA brand; the company logo and the jewelry collections are protected by industrial property rights.
All information, texts, parts of texts, pictures, graphics, animations, videos, sounds and other contents of this website, as well as their arrangement, are protected by copyright and other protective rights.
No reproduction, modification or use of the aforementioned content in other electronic or printed publications is permitted.
12. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE – PLACE OF JURISDICTION – APPLICABLE LAW
Italian law is exclusively applicable.
The parties agree for all disputes arising from the contractual relationship, Merano(o) as the local competent court.
13. SAVING CLAUSE
Should one or more provisions in the General Terms and Conditions be or become wholly or partially invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these General Terms and Conditions: The parties undertake to replace the wholly or partially invalid provisions with corresponding statutory provisions.
