The Barbados necklace is a long one-of-a-kind piece with a clear, sculptural presence. Twelve strands of coral create a dense, warm volume, while tiger’s eye and the Harpa Cabriti shell introduce a calmer, more mineral tension. A coral cabochon adds a precise point of colour and focus. At 75 cm in length, the Barbados necklace feels present yet composed: it frames the upper body, elongates the silhouette and brings colour into view in a deliberate, assured way. Its many strands create fullness without ever making the piece feel heavy or loud.
Its effect comes from density, rhythm and material contrast. The twelve coral strands fall softly, almost like a textile surface, giving the necklace a fluid, continuous read. Against that, the shell and tiger’s eye act as structured counterpoints: the Harpa Cabriti shell brings organic pattern and sculptural shape, while tiger’s eye introduces a silky, bronze-brown glow with real depth. Three micro-details define the piece: the saturated warmth of the coral, the shifting sheen of the tiger’s eye, and the distinctive shell silhouette finished with the coral cabochon as a focused accent. With BARBADOS, I wanted to bring warmth and structure into one quiet, elongated line. Coral gives energy, tiger’s eye adds depth, and the shell creates a sculptural counterpoint that holds the piece together.
The Barbados necklace is especially strong with white, cream, sand, chocolate, black or warm natural tones. Against linen, silk, smooth cotton or fine knitwear, its length reads clearly and the material contrast stays precise. The many strands come through best with simple silhouettes, where the necklace can stand as a single focal point. It also pairs beautifully with restrained gold accents, always carrying a summery presence without tipping into decoration.

Each piece is individually handcrafted. In the Barbados necklace, the density, construction and drape of the twelve strands need to be balanced with precision so the piece feels fluid while keeping its shape. The shell, tiger’s eye and coral cabochon are placed so colour, weight and visual direction work together as one composition. The design is also available in yellow or white gold, and preferences can be noted during checkout.
