The Marettimo necklace is a long one-of-a-kind piece with calm, natural presence. Ten strands of pink coral and shell chips fall in a soft, dense and fluid way, creating visible volume without ever feeling heavy. A side-set marble cone shell with a rhodochrosite cabochon forms the sculptural focal point and gives the piece its direction. At 80 cm, the Marettimo necklace feels assured, light and distinctive – a statement necklace defined by marine texture and refined colour.
Its character comes from structure, colour and movement. The ten strands do not sit stiffly; instead, they move with a soft, almost textile-like flow around the body. The focal element is not placed in the centre, which is exactly what makes the piece feel modern and sculptural rather than conventionally decorative. Three micro-details shape its identity: the tonal range of pink coral, the pale irregular texture of the shell chips, and the distinctive surface of the marble cone shell. The small rhodochrosite cabochon adds a precise point of colour. As a result, the necklace feels warm, composed and singular.

With the Marettimo necklace, I wanted coral and shell to feel clear and grounded rather than decorative. Colour, texture and form were meant to come together quietly – while still carrying immediate presence.
The Marettimo necklace works especially well with white, cream, sand, brown or black. Clean necklines and smooth fabrics let its length read clearly. At the same time, it also pairs beautifully with linen, fine knits or simple silk. Because the materials are organic, the necklace never feels severe. Instead, it brings warmth, movement and a quiet summer confidence to the look.

Each piece is handcrafted in Italy with great care. Coral, shell and cabochon are selected for colour balance, texture and overall harmony, which means every Marettimo necklace carries its own nuance. The ten-strand construction also requires precision so the necklace falls fluidly and remains comfortable to wear. Yellow or white gold versions are available on request, and preferences can be noted during checkout.
