THE PIECE
MADAGASKAR is a one-of-a-kind stud earring set built on contrast: graphic banded malachite on top, warm amber below, shaped in an organic silhouette. The result feels sculptural yet calm—precise in outline, alive in light.
At 5 cm in length, the design wears with presence while the two-part construction keeps it fluid rather than rigid.
DESIGN & SILHOUETTE
The silhouette is deliberately clean: a square malachite cabochon as a quiet starting point, followed by a freeform amber drop like a warm finish. A slim gold-plated link connects both elements and allows a subtle, natural movement.
MATERIALS & CHARACTER
Malachite shows layered greens with its distinctive linear pattern, while amber glows in honey-to-cognac tones and may reveal natural inclusions. Smooth polish meets a crisp bezel edge in 18k gold-plated sterling silver—where the tension between natural material and precise form becomes visible.
