The Vesuvio necklace is a one-of-a-kind piece with controlled drama: six strands of Mediterranean coral create a warm, radiant volume, interrupted by the cool blue-green shimmer of labradorite. At the centre, the composition gathers into a sculptural cluster of differently cut stones, finished with a freely shaped coral element that gives the design its final emphasis. Measuring 58 cm with an additional 8 cm extension chain, the Vesuvio necklace sits with presence while remaining resolved, balanced and wearable.
Its effect comes from the tension between heat and light. The six coral strands wrap closely around the neck, almost like a soft textile band. In contrast, the labradorite introduces another register altogether: reflective, deep and alive with internal colour. The centrepiece is not ornamental in a decorative sense; it is built more like a compact relief. Three micro-details define the piece: the irregular outlines of the individual labradorites, the electric blue-green flash on a darker base, and the organic, almost lava-like contour of the lower coral drop. That is what makes the Vesuvio necklace feel sculptural rather than merely decorative.

With the Vesuvio necklace, I wanted to bring heat and coolness into one composition: coral carries the warmth, while labradorite carries the light. The tension only exists because both are given equal weight.
The Vesuvio necklace is strongest with clean necklines, smooth fabrics and quiet silhouettes. Against white, cream, black or deep brown, the coral and labradorite read clearly without competing with one another. It also works beautifully with silk, fine knitwear or linen, where the overall effect stays focused, warm and distinctly luxurious.

Each piece is individually handcrafted. In the Vesuvio necklace, the six coral strands are arranged so that density, drape and tension remain in balance. Labradorite also demands a careful selection process, as flash, cut and surface have a strong impact on the final composition. The design is also available in yellow or white gold, and preferences can be noted during checkout.
Care: Protect coral and labradorite from perfume, water and hard impact. Store the necklace dry and separately. Clean metal parts with a soft cloth.
