With BORNHOLM, I wanted to bring darkness and light into one clear, elegant line. The onyx gives calm and depth, while the amber adds warmth and keeps the composition open.
The BORNHOLM clip earring is especially strong with white, cream, sand, chocolate, black or warm natural tones. Against linen, silk, smooth cotton or fine knitwear, the contrast between onyx and amber reads with particular clarity. With hair worn up, the length becomes more pronounced; with hair worn loose, the design feels softer and subtler. Because the earring already carries so much character through form and contrast, it works beautifully as a single focal point.
Each piece is individually handcrafted. In the BORNHOLM clip earring, the balance of colour, length and proportion determines the final effect.
