The Capri choker is a one-of-a-kind piece with a bright, sculptural presence. Five strands of cultured pearls create a dense, calm band, while the double nautilus shell with gold edging forms a strong organic focal point. A turquoise cabochon adds a cool, precise accent and gathers the composition at one point. Measuring 33 cm with a 5 cm extension chain, the Capri choker sits close to the neck and therefore feels clear, composed and distinct in expression. Its width of 5 cm gives it visible presence without making it feel heavy. The result is a piece that uses light, form and material tension in a deliberate and assured way.
The effect of the Capri choker comes from density, contrast and its compact line at the neck. The five pearl strands wrap around the neckline like a soft, animated band, creating volume with a clear contour. The double nautilus shell forms the sculptural centre: pale, elemental and immediately present in shape. The gold edging defines that form with precision, while the turquoise cabochon introduces a fresh blue-green counterpoint. Three micro-details define the piece most clearly: the silky lustre of the cultured pearls, the relief-like spiral shape of the double shell, and the small turquoise cabochon as a concentrated point of colour. With CAPRI, I wanted to bring brightness and structure into one clear form close to the neck. The pearls create calm, the nautilus shell sets a sculptural centre, and the turquoise adds the cool impulse that keeps the piece alive.
The Capri choker is especially strong with white, cream, sand, chocolate, black or warm natural tones. Against linen, silk, smooth cotton or fine knitwear, its broad neckline reads with clarity and refinement. It works particularly well with open necklines, crisp collars and quiet silhouettes, where its compact shape can stand out cleanly. In that way, the Capri choker works beautifully as a single focal point, but also with restrained gold accents.
As each piece is created as a one-of-a-kind, we can adjust length, proportions and details to your preferences.
Each piece is individually handcrafted. In the Capri choker, the density, width and drape of the five strands need to be balanced precisely so the piece sits close to the neck while still feeling soft. The double nautilus shell with gold edging is not used as decoration alone, but as a considered formal counterpoint within the composition. Custom length and the cabochon can be chosen individually. The design is also available in yellow or white gold, and preferences can be noted during checkout.
Care: Protect pearls, shell and turquoise from perfume, water and hard impact. Store pearls separately and dry. Clean metal parts with a soft cloth.
